If your using windows media player, you should be able to drag it into the sync collum. If your using itunes or zune (or any special software that you have to download for your player) then you have to create a new folder (or open the music folder) on your computer and drag the music into the folder. Then you go to the mp3 software and make it search the folders for mp3 files*, then the music is on the mp3 software and sync it from there.
*that may be confusing but most mp3 software already search the music folder.
