She keeps giving me quotations whenever I open a terminal, how can I get rid of these ?
Otherwise Cassandra is being a good girl.
Answer:
Hi, u mean those quotes that pop out with the terminal right? I have them enabled on one system because I thought I might like it with Daryna, but I have to say that some of the quotes r weird. Not really sure how to disable them, here is a thread from the Mint forums if u would like to read:

Good Luck!
Answer:
All I know is it's called "fortunes"
I'm not sure how to disable it, but (at least in daryna) it gives you the option to disable or enable them on your very first boot up
Personally, I like them. My most recent fortune:
"Q: How many DEC repairman does it take to fix a flat?
A: Five; four to hold the car up and one to swap tires.
Q: How long does it take?
A: It's indeterminate.
It will depend upon how many flats they've brought with them.
Q: What happens if you've got TWO flats?
A: They replace your generator."
Answer:
If it is run through your ~/.bashrc or ~/.bash_profile, comment out that line.
Otherwise, it should be called from /etc/profiles. Comment out there, if you have root access that is..
To be safer, just keep a backup of that file while you edit it.
