there is something wrong with my windows xp. I mean I can use the system but the moment i use any software which calls for scanning of the system such as E-Scan OR undelete files.etc, my computer hangs. When I restart, after a few minutes of initial functioning it hangs again and this goes on till I shut my computer off for some while. My motherboard is swollen in parts, hence I am waiting for it to go bad so that I can format my computer then instead of doing it now and then having to do it later as well. please help me…..
1. how do I fix this problem so that I can use my scanning programmes well
2. This has also corrupted the registry values of my corel draw graphics suite 12. Any idea how to fix that as my computer hangs while i try to install it.
How do I rectify that
Answer:
What do you mean, your motherboard is swollen in parts? If your motherboard is damaged (and this is beginning to sound like it is) then there is nothing you can do to fix your problems until you replace the motherboard. The longer you wait, the worse the problems are going to be. If your computer got hit with a power surge, or if it shut off incorrectly because the power went out or it got unplugged, you may not only have a damaged motherboard, you may also have a damaged hard drive. You need to have a professional check the machine for you, and you may have to get a new computer and reinstall all your stuff on the new one.
