When opening e-mail computer fails to down load attatchments?

My computer (only six months old) will only download them using Quicktime. Try installing it. Especially for photos

And be patient. One time I was waiting for an attachment to open, and it opened in the background! (Behind an existing window) and I thought mine wasn't working either) - It was just opening up the attachment…

are you using outlook?

if so, it has settings to strip many attachments as "unsafe".

you will need to reset the settings to something sensible.

also could be the attachments are too large for your isp and/or outlook settings.

some email accounts dosen't let u attach more than x MB

if the attachments r big size then tell the sender to divide them and resend them in 2 or more emails

sometimes they don't allow the attachment to load if they think its suspicious - you need to adjust your settings.

could be a setting in your e-mail program or microsoft being a pain

change the extender on the attachment b4 sending and change it back on reciept
