i have a bunch of games that i want to install but i dont know where the serial key is or the cd key or whatever it is. i want to know if there a program that can retrieve that from the cd?
Answer:
what you can do id download a peer-2-peer downloading software, and search for the specific serial numbers for each game.
I have done this with multiple computer games, computer software, etc.
I use Ares
Answer:
CD keys are not stored on the CD's. If they were, there would be no need for you to enter it when you install the game. You'll have to find the CD cases in order to install your games.

As Nisovin mentions, and to resume it all: we know you are using warez, stop being immature and regularize your situation.
Yes, cd-keys are indeed printed inside the case | box | manual and on some cases also a little sticker you can put anywhere you feel like, for instance… inside the box.
To the money part: I can sense your whims, but I'm sure you waste money on unnecessary crap you don't enjoy as much as games, so don't you even dare mention it
- But just in case, there are freeware alternatives specifically from the indie development scene… so theres plenty for everyone, except liars.
Cheers.
PS: Regarding the actual "installed" games, most of that data is stored inside the windows registry… but you wont find it as public input data, on most cases it's either a hex representation or a decoded / generated data stream to identify your copy.
