So far I got gens, mupen64, and vba.
I'm mainly looking for a dreamcast emulator, but any others will do

Unfortunately, the people who write emulators haven't heard that Linux users like to play games. About the only decent emulator that I've encountered for Linux is PCSX.
Still, many emulators written for Windows seem to work well under Wine. Jnes, NO$GBA, and MESS ( a collection of emulators for old-school computers) seem to work well.

I'm Using VMWare right now, you can install Linux using that software as a guest OS. you can download a free trial. and eventually can buy one if you like the software.

I've been turning to Qemu everytime I want to use an emulator. I've been using it since it was pretty new back in late 2003 and early 2004.
