I have a lot of important hidden files in my system. But after once when personal got infected with a Trojan Horse I can’t view the hidden files in my computer. Every time I select the check box to show the hidden files in the Folder options dialog box and apply it and then click OK and again open the same dialog box, the check box would have been cleared automatically. Please tell me what to do?!

Answer:
1. Click Start > Run > Regedit
2. Registry Windows will open.
3.Navigate to the registry folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden
\SHOWALL
You will find a key called CheckedValue. Double Click CheckedValue key and modify it to 1. This is to show all the hidden files. Now you should be able to view all the hidden files, and also to modify its status from folder options.

Did you scan your system for spyware too? Try Lavasoft's Ad-aware and Spybot S&D. Scan your system with both utilities (one at a time though), and that should clear up most infestations that might still resides in your system. Good luck!
