Hello, there! I have a few questions but in one sphere. I want to know, what does the process 'ekrn.exe' mean (I heard somewhere, that this process runs with the Antivirus programm NOD32 that I’ve in my PC) and what about to delete this file? I want to know, what the 'System Idle Process' and 'winlogon.exe' mean and can I end anyway these processes? At least I want to know why I’ve minimum 5 'svchost.exe' processes in my Task Manager and how can I end this process? Hope you'll help. I’m waiting for your answers:) I know, that this problem has many people occured;)

Answer:
You don't have any problems, except that you want to terminate legitimate processes. Don't do it.

ekrn.exe is part of nod32, which is your security. Leave it alone.

system idle process shows how much of your resources are available for use. Leave it alone.

winlogon.exe loads the user profile, locks the screen when the screensaver runs, etc. Leave it alone.

svchost.exe is a generic name for applications running as windows services. Leave them alone.

Clear?? If you don't comprehend, don't delete.

And btw, you could have easily looked up all these answers yourself. Since the os is a mystery to you, you should consider not messing in it.

Answer:
all those you mentioned are safe to have.

I also have many svchost.exe in all my computers, halways been so.

The only one I didn't know was ekrn.exe so I searched and found “Bought nod32 because it was supposed to be fast but ekrn.exe kills my CPU takes 100% “

here http://www.glaryutilities.com/processlib… so that's self explanatory. (get Norton instead! lol)

If you need further info on all of it, input them in google.
