I had a question on my exam that asked me to input the following: Insert 3 new sheets at once on same worksheet. How do i do this? I only have one try to do this. Someone told me the command was shift f11, but pressing it once already counts as one command so that's incorrect.

Say i open up a new blank worksheet, on the bottom has sheets 1 to 3. Now i need to open up 3 new sheets on same page with just ONE command, no hotkey shortcuts. What’s the correct point-and-click procedure to do this? I’m able to go to any command as long as it has … at the end, such as File>Open… because it brings me to a new window and as long as i don't complete my action with an OK button, i am able to do many things before inputting my answer.

Answer:
you cant use a keyboard shortcut? or can you? shift F11 is the way to go, its just 1 command, and thats all you need.

if you’re able to do might things before inputting the answer…then what counts as many things? how about these 2 things before shift f11?

- Click on Sheet1

- hold your shift button down, so you can shift-click on Sheet3 (this should choose all 3 sheets)

- click Shift F11, and with this 1 command, you’ll add 3 sheets.

the other way to do this with the mouse (my personal preference)…

- Click on Sheet1

- hold your shift button down, so you can shift-click on Sheet3 (this should select all 3 sheets)

- right click on Sheet3

- click Insert…

- double-click worksheet

and you are done…no ok's needed.

if its mouse only no keyboard? click 3 times this way…

- right click on Sheet1

- click Insert…

- double-click worksheet

and you wont be in Kansas anymore :o)
