I know I can click delete and stuff. It goes to the recycle bin and I empty it and all but somehow it is still there taking up memory, How do I COMPLETELY remove something.

Answer:
I use a free program called CCleaner, it deletes your history, cookies, temporary Internet files and more. That should make your computer run faster and clear up memory.

There's also an option where is searches around and clears out fragments from old files and broken documents.

Of course, you can also just do a disc defrag on it to tidy up and clear more space for memory. Just go to Begin > all programs > accessories > system tools > Disk Defragmenter.

hope it helps

Answer:
When you delete something it is still there. Recycle is a superior word because that’s what you’re doing, recycling space. When you send something to the bin you’re telling your personal that when it needs space to save something else, it is Ok to overwrite the thing you just sent to the bin. You can't absolutely remove it, and you can't make that space empty. If you want it gone for security reasons, you can force an overwrite using a software.

Try CCleaner

Answer:
Like you stated, when you delete something it goes to the recycle bin. It isn’t actually deleted, but the file has simply been moved to the recycle bin folder. But once you empty the recycle bin, then it is deleted for good. Technically the data for that file is still in your hard drive but the file system has tagged that file as deleted and the space that the file used to take has been made available.

Answer:
Take a very strong magnet to the harddrive, and a then smash the whole computer with a sledge hammer.

(or if you just want to get rid of a file without the recycle, choose the file, hold down shift, and then press delete.)

Answer:
You could set the personal to not use the recycle bin and just delete the files permanently by right clicking the recycle bin icon and selecting “properties” inside you’ll see the option but I don't recomend it.
