So what exactly is the deal with Spysure? Say we have the family Computer, dad's laptop, brother's laptop and my laptop. Dad's put Spysure on his laptop to monitor the family Personal computer (we think). I don't know about brother's laptop. How does the Spysure work? I use our home wireless network on my laptop, the router is connected to the family Personal computer. Will Spysure basically work on everyone (all computers) connected on the wireless? Is there any way around this at all? He's put it on Stealth Mode.

AND… the way it Monitors emails and chat msgs sent and received, is that only the ones sent and received AFTER Spysure has been installed or does it backdate them or something?

from what i can see “spysure” is one of many spyware removal tools,however unlike the popular ones like spybot and adaware personal this one seems to be one of those rogue programs that does what its states it does,but then will only grant you to remove it after you’ve bought the full version
a genuine security software,or any program for that matter will come with a e.u.l.a (end user license aggrement) and also a uninstaller,the eula is the part we all concur to at the beginning of all programs allthough we very rarely read them,so allways be careful
another part of this software that worrys me is the way it can monitor your e-mails and messenger chats,this is spyware/keylogging at its most perilous
there are removal tools for most rogue spyware programs and other legitimate spyware programs like “spybot”(http://www.safer-networking.org… and “sunbelt counterspy” (http://www.sunbelt-software.com/) will remove these problems

Its a very powerful monitoring/keylogging program that can take snapshots of activity. Not only on the web but offline too, every single keystroke can be recorded remotely. Theres completely no privacy.
It seen by some security suites as spyware(norton for example) and its not as easy as just removing by uninstalling (when your dad realises that its completely unreasonable, and is hogging up his resources) He’ll need to modify the registry.
