My Nero 8 is showing no picture, only sound.?

Also i can't locate the nero control box{play rewind etc} I do have a unmoveable nero control strip along the top of the sceen, while the film plays.Everything else is running fine just cant seem to find the picture. The main start page is the only thing i can see, even though i have the control strip along the top.I still have full control over the film i can't see.

install K-Lite codecs, just download it and thats all, job done, dont bother to configure it

It does sound like you need to do the codecs. That's usually the issue when you can't see the picture but can hear. I usually get the same thing on my Media Player/Winamp after formatting.
