HI i have lots of dll. shell 32. and bunch more problems with my pc( a very old one with windows 98) so i was wondering if i could reinstall the whole windows again with our the CD/DVD which installs it??

My apologies for misunderstanding you but here goes…

If you DO HAVE the Windows 98 disk (and key code), you can…

reinstall a fresh copy onto your computer by putting the CD in your CD drive and turning the personal on. When the screen says “Press any key to boot from CD…”, press a key, follow the onscreen instructions to format the hard drive and install Windows. If you don't get the prompt to boot from CD, you’ll need to enter your BIOS setup (when the computer first starts up) and make your initial boot device the CD drive so that Windows can start from the CD.

If you DO NOT HAVE the Windows 98 disk…

there is really no way to recover the program or reinstall it unless you were somehow able to persuade Microsoft to send you a replacement (about as likely as a Republican getting elected).
