Why will not my personal obey me??

Can anyone help? This is kind of a

weird and idiotically complex problem!

Ok, in my documents, for example, I

have 6 folders lined up horizontally,

if I do anything to the far left folder, nothing

happens to the other 6; If I even go to the

far right folder, let alone change anything,

when I come back out of it, all the

rest of the folders have been jumbled out of

the order I want them in??????

That is so weird????

It happens every time. If I reorganize it

back to the folder line up I want, then

go back into that last folder on the

end, come back out, all the folders are

rearranged again, wihtout my consent, by

the computer? Just for going into

that last folder on the end?

Another example is, I’ll search for

something in my documents

folder, and I want it displayed in a details

format, but no matter how many times

I tell the computer to show me the search

results in “details”, it uses “large icons”

view?

How can I get the personal to obey me?

Go to “Tools” –> “Folder Options”

Click on the “View” tab

Go towards the bottom and you'll see… “Remember Each Folder's View Settings”

Check that box and reboot. That should fix it…

Try speaking Klingon to it !
