is there a way or software to rename 100 folders simple and fast , because if i did it by manual way its so difficult

i mean folders not files

Try FileRenamer. It works on folders too.

I usually pick it up at download.com, to make sure I'm getting a safe copy.

Actually Renamer does folders, I'm not sure if FileRenamer does. But they're both free.

Assuming that you want to name them as Folder 1, Folder 2, Folder 3….

FYI, to create folder easily, simply copy an empty folder and paste it where ever you want to.

To rename 100 folders in the same sequence (even if their current name is different), simply select all the folders by pressing “Ctrl A”. Now right click on the first folder while all the folders are still highlighted. Click on rename. If you name the first folder as “My Folder (1)” and hit enter, it will automatically rename rest of the folders in the same sequenece. eg. My Folder (1), My Folder (2), My Folder (3)………….My Folder (100).

maybe theres a application called renameit… and do a lot of stuff automatically, tipically as you said , rename bunch of files… but im not shure let me double check and i will update this info…..regards
