Windows task manager?

Author: admin

I am currently using my friends laptop while mine is in for a service, and I know that there are probably many processes running that needn't be but when I open task manager with ctrl alt del it only displays the programs that are running ie messenger & firefox. There’s no tab for processes, cpu usage etc, there's not even a minimise or close button on the top right; just a grey border. How do I access the processes part of the manager?

Answer:
Task Manager is in “tiny footprint mode” — one of the most obscure and silliest feature I think Microsoft invented. — who wants Task Manager in a “tiny footprint mode” ??

Like WHO exactly REQUESTED that feature to be added to Windows?

To restore the Task Manager back to normal mode, just double click anywhere along the top border of the window.

VOILA! Task Manager restored to its former glory.

Answer:
It's under Administrative Tools in the control panel

Answer:
Just double click on the window and it'll go back to normal
