I click tools, then internet options and I get an error saying. This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions put on this computer. See computer administrator…(witch is me.) I am using windows XP. I am the only one on user accounts, I dont know what to do… Any suggestion?

Check Microsoft web site for a possible update or repair, they might have a service pack to update.

Try reinstalling Internet Explorer. Or try rebooting. I was just researching it and apparently, it's an unknown error for Internet Explorer. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

ComboFix may help this. It is a free download. Run it, and see if it finds and corrects this issue. It will do no harm, as it is a multi virus repair, and it may cure this. I have at times seen invasive spyware cause this behaviour, so if ComboFix doesn't help, try Spybot Search and Destroy. Another free download, and very effective on almost all spyware. Hope this helps, and worth trying, as it is all free!
