I am using windows vista ultimate and I am confronted by a very annoying bug. Every time I try to open a folder, my explorer inexplicably restarts. I need to know what's causing this, what's the solution or has anyone had any similar problem before. And please, no unproductive answers such as "Forget about Vista, get a Mac." or "Switch to linux." Guaranteed 5 stars for the best possible answer. Thanks!

Hmm… had a similar problem before. All I did was to scan my entire system with my avast anti virus program and I eliminated the problem eversince. It could be a virus.
