How can i download songs from limewire?

coz i cannot download songs from limewire although i've already downloaded limewire into my computer. Pls help..

For the person above, Limewire still works, and the lawsuit was cancelled and Lots of people still use it. Anyway. at the very beginning, Go to the search tab and click on audio, Under title, type in the song name or if u wantto look for an artist, click on artist and put his/her name in, click "enter" on ur keyboard, wait for some searches to come up and when u see one tht matches wht u want, double click on it or click on it and then clic on "download" under it (look for ones with the highest numbers to the left of them so u can ge a faster download), wait for it to download, and when it says "complete" under "status" to the right, click on the tab "library" and go down to "audio" and that song should be there. To play it, double click on it or click on it and click on "launch" under it.

*sighs* Limewire was amazing, really. I loved it so much and used it all of the time before it got into a lawsuit or something. I don't think that it works anymore, so no luck for you. (or me) So yeah, your's probably doesn't work just because it's closed down and will most definitely be gone forever.

well u click on the song icon and set either the artist or the name of the song once all the results (or most have appeared select one and allow it to download (it might take a while depending on ur internet connection u can preview the son to make sure it the correct and by the way its no illegal when its open file sharing its like if u r giving the person the info thats all

Don't use Limewire.. It's illegal! Limewire makes a profit from selling Limewire Pro. You can't sell a file sharing program.

If it's music you're after, use Ares, or Frostwire.

If it's movies, don't make the mistake everyone else does. Never download movies from the Gnutella network. Use torrents.
