Computer virus problem?

I have a wired virus when I turn on my computer my background changes to some commorcial of videos and my homepage changes to the same web site and I hate it, How can I remove this virus.

2. System restore, if you just got this virus today, run system restore and try to restore your computer back to yesterday, it may also work.

3. Save everything on a disk and get ready to reformat your hard drive
