My regular ca spyware isn't working, need something for immediate protection, that works and is free.

I wouldn't download any free spyware (if you think about it, don't you get spyware from the internet?). Get spysweeper from your local electronics store.
By the way, for the person who placed the first comment; Linux is only for hackers.

recently my ocmputer got infeceted by spyware … i dunno how but i know its my bros fault lol ill just leave it at that anyways .. mcafee wasnt workin (and its subscription) , ad-aware wasnt workin, those two alone are supposed to be phenomenal … so we downloaded a free program called superantispyware .. cleaned the computer up very welll .. get it

protection which you had with CA……the others
above do not give realtime unless you purchase.
An excellent prog.. and completely FREE.
Use any of the others as a backup only.Scroll
down to very bottom of page and d/load where
it says without WEB SECURITY GUARD.
You can always try it later,its a shade fiddly.
Again this is the only one in realtime.
