Every time I run this the Spyware defense shows 20 items unprotected, in show details the Infection defense shows 27862 out of 27882 immunized. How can I permanently immunize these 20 viruses? I can't afford the Professional version.
No silly answers please.. I need help with protecting my PC from those pesky viruses (I call GITS!) out there.

AWCP isn't primarily an antispyware program - you should try at least a few other antispyware programs, including one with realtime protection. Here are some suggestions for Antivirus and antispyware:
Antivirus: (listed in order of preference)
Avira (http://www.free-av.com )
AVAST! Home (http://www.avast.com )
AVG (http://free.grisoft.com )
all provide realtime protection and automatic updates; all have ICSA and VB100 certification, but Avira has been among the highest rated in tests by several respected US and UK computer publications.
antispyware: (listed in order of preference)
Spyware Terminator (http://www.SpywareTerminator.com ) or
Spyware Doctor (http://pack.google.com )
either one will give you good, realtime protection, along with
Ad-Aware Free (http://www.lavasoftusa.com ) and
Spybot S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org ) for additional removal ability.

Well for one thing, Advanced Windows Care just updated either late yesterday or early today, so have you applied the update yet? After you update and scan, do the repair from the main AWC menu, not from the spyware defense menu. I had a similar glitch and I'm not sure how I solved it now, but I think the immunization went better from the main menu.
Besides Advanced Windows Care V2 Personal, do you also have either Spybot Search and Destroy and /or Spyware Blaster? Because I think Spybot had something to do with preventing Spyware Blaster from getting a complete immunization when Spybot was having the same problem. *THAT* was solved with a Spybot beta patch.
In any case, if you aren't running anything besides AWC, try my suggestion of repairing the un-immunuzed items from the main menu after doing the update and running the scam.
If you have Spybot, either post back for the link to the patch, or just hang tight and wait for the new version which is *supposed* to be out very soon.
