my personal got slow so i ran AVG and it showed that i have an infected windows/system32/dll file.now it shuts off on its own,i can hear adds in the background and its just a lot slower than it was.how do i fix this problem and prevent it from happenning again?

Download malwarebytes and hijackthis and run a scan on your computer while in safe mode with networking. Malwarebytes should take care of everything, here is the free trial:

Download firefox and noscript addon, and don’t download executable files you don’t trust.

Well, you're supposed to clean up the file. I'm not a massive AVG fan because the things that you have to pay for, Avast does for free (like scanning for spyware, rootkits, etc). If you have the option, uninstall AVG and install Avast instead, and do a boot-time scan when you can so that any impurities in critical places get destroyed before they latch onto critical parts of Windows.
That's just me though >.> never gotten a bad virus since sixth grade.

The ideal solution is to format your hard drive and reinstall Windows. That way you'll get rid of all the viruses you’ve.
A good solution also is to get a Free trial good antivirus like norton/kaspersky or bitdefender and scan your personal for all viruses
