a friend of mine told me that having multiple antispyware programs (only one with real time protection) can create trojans, how i have no clue but that's what he stated.
is this true?
i have multiple antispy apps but only one with real time prot. (spy term.)
what gives?
is this ok?
i thought that it was good to have multi antispy programs cause no single program is good at getting them all.
clarity please.
Answer:
sorry to state, but your friend is an idiot….having multiple spyware programs can cause conflicts on your system but it will not and cannot create trojans…ps I used to use spybot but now use super anti spyware and it's free and works like a charm…cheers
Answer:
Having multiple antispyware programs running won't actually create trojans. But bear in mind that many of the supposed antispyware programs are in fact phony and contain trojans themselves.
So if you are in the habit of downloading numerous antispyware programs you find on the 'net then chances are that you’ll end up with a trojan from one of them.
Answer:
No,it's not true.
He’s probably referring to two anti-virus real time programs!
If only one anti-spyware is running in real-time,its no problem.
As a matter of fact some work ideal in tandem, such as Spy-bot,and Adaware.
I’ve three on my computer.
No worries….
Answer:
if you think your friend is an idiot you're not far wrong if he believes multiple anti spyware can create trojans that’s absolutely impossible
I've got four installed with no problem here's what I've got installed
windows defender (real time protection)
spyware doctor (real time protection)
ad-aware
spybot search and destroy
Answer:
It probably won't cause trojans, but it is not advisable to have multiple program that protect against the same thing. See my virus protection article for more: http://flashcreations-faq.blogspot.com/2…
