Spyware program detected

Author: admin

Fixed infection, but should i uninstall ccleaner and reinstall latest version?

Answer:
I would do a clean uninstall / reinstall of CCleaner, and if your spyware program flags it again, I would call it a false positive.

Edit: Which spyware scan flagged CCleaner for Tagasaurus?

Because if it was Spyware Doctor, there is a discussion going on in their forum about that very issue. No official word from the Spyware Doctor people, but users seem to believe it's an FP.

Answer:
I suggest that you do the following;

Download and update the avg Antivirus and download the spyware doctor below the shut your computer down and restart it and tap the F-8 key repeatedly while the system starts up and select safe mode and run the avg and the spyware doctor while in safe mode, This will catch it so you can remove it,

Here is a free and very good Antivirus tool called avg free,

Note; You should never use more than one Antivirus on your computer at a time,
