i have various rogue spyware on my computer.
i think it is "virprotect.com" and several other minor threat viruses.
my home page is also now homepcsafety.com which is SO ANNOYING.
i also have a toolbar that i DID NOT download, and thats a scam too
how do i remove the viruses?
should i just wipe out my computer?

I suggest the following;
First go to your my computer and open it then at the very top you will see uninstall/change programs and click that then all the software on your computer will appear then look for this toolbar and left click it once then go back to the top and click uninstall,
Download and update the avg Antivirus and download the spyware doctor below the shut your computer down and restart it and tap the F-8 key repeatedly while the system starts up and select safe mode and run the avg and the spyware doctor while in safe mode, This will catch it so you can remove it,
This is very good tool and I recommend it to keep your pc in good running condition,

Here is a very good tool called Winpatrol and it Monitors your computer for programs that try to run on your system without your knowlege, This tool also allows you to manage all the startup programs on your computer,, It also warns you if a program tries to run without your permission, I use this software and I recommend it,

Your computer has a Smitfraud infection. Any "warnings" are fradulant and a scam.
Almost all "general purpose","all-in one" spyware and virus removal programs such as AVG, Norton, McAfee or Spybot S & D cannot remove it.
