There is really no such thing as free. You can scan for free then when it says you have viruses you have to pay to remove them. I suggest using adware.com, if the virus returns they have great online support.

Well my friend paid a computer guy to come fix her computer from best buy. He was about $100 for a half hour of work and put AVG anti virus and Ad-aware on her computer. I use both, both are free and work great! Run one at a time, AVG does viruses and Ad-aware does spyware.. Goodluck!
