Ok, everytime you log in, it shows where you have logged in from at the top. I do not know if that is ur IP address or something else. But whatever it is, i typed it into my internet address bar and it took me to some login thing that required a username and password.

Well heres where i am concerned… This guy, who i think is from another country offered to let me borrow his account and share it with him on the game. Could he be waiting for me to log onto that account and then get my Ip address or whatever that info is and hack me or do something harmful? My computer has files on it that are important.

Is this info saying where u have last logged in from in any way bad for other people to see?

Answer:
The reason it shows that is so you know if someone else has been on your runescape. copy the code on scrap paper and keep it by your computer check to see what the code is everytime you log on. if it is diffrent then change your password and recovery questions asap.

Answer:
No it is not bad if other people see because it does not contain the IP address of a computer. It only displays the Internet Connection code and you can't trace a computer with that. If someone has your IP address, then yes they can potentially hack your computer.

Answer:
Actually, Dosa Hut, your ISP is shown in that text when you first log in. If someone actually knew how to, they could possibly get your IP address out of that text. Most service providers use a proxy though, so no worries about your IP getting hacked by a Runescaper.

By the way, most studies show that 98% of Runescape players have trouble breathing and blinking at the same time. If you feel any loss of brain control, cease to play Runescape and wait until symptoms end before playing again. If you feel any wooziness of the arms, this may be a rare but serious side effect, and you should stop playing Runescape and call a doctor.

Lol, I forget where I read that…
