I bought Norton anti virus 2007 and created a norton account to activate it…But had it uninstalled since it was slowing down my PC… will i be able to continue the remaining days of subscription later(maybe after a year)?? or would it have expired by then??

Answer:
The subscription is from date of first use. So I an sorry to say, you will not be able to just pick up where you left off.

You will however, likely be able to use the software for a short time if you reinstall, as they will try to get you to renew the subscription for another year.

If they do not let you use the software, switch to AVG

This version is free and works well. Just lags a little behind on getting the updates for new threats, as they take care of the paying customers first.

Answer:
if you bought subscribtion norton for 1 year, so after 1 year, you must buy subscribtion again…..because your account store in symantec server…

Answer:
It would be expired by then, cos there is a file in your pc that says the date of which Norton you subscribed to, however if you format or reset your pc to factory settings the subscription will also be reset ~^_^~, so you can use it again, but when you subscribe again, you may wanna subscribe in a different email etc.

Answer:
only if you restore the pc to factory conditions or the clock is still ticking in your pc no you cant

Answer:
Don't go back to Norton. It does slow your computer down and installs stuff all over it. Try AVG free, it is great.

Answer:
sorry it will expire soon but you can renew it but i wouldnt use norton its sucks and is junk etc use Avast

Answer:
This you can also count on: If you bought the program back in may of 2007 but then installed it on your computer in Nov. 07 lets say Nov 17th 2007 your subsciption would be good till Nov. 16th 2008 it is good for one year from the time you installed it. There have been a number of times I have reinstalled my entire operating system (no fault so ever from Norton) and then of course then obviously reinstalled the anti-virus as well. Thing is reinstalling it also means you'll be downloading a good bit mega bits. Bringing everything up to date with the latest updattes whala!l
