Can anyone recommend a good FTP software for a Macbook. I downloaded CLassic FTP from the apple website, but when the files are transfered….what do i do then.
Filezilla does not seem to work on my MAc for some reason
Answer:
The Mac comes with two ftp utilities already. One is called Safari, one is called ftp.
To use Safari type ftp:site in the address bar and use the graphical user interface to navigate around.
To use ftp you need to open up a command line (Applications->Utilities->Terminal), type ftp and press return. It's a command line, so you type help and press return to find out what it does. Basically it's just the plain old ftp that all personal have as it's a standard, so Google and find.
