Hey joomla people, simple question. I have my new Web site's joomla folder in www.mysite.com/joomla. Because of this, my server is treating that as the homepage to my site.
How do I get Joomla to recognize www.mysite.com as its home page?
Thanks!
Answer:
delete that directory and put its contents in your “www” or “public_html” folder (i.e. root folder)
install it and you should be able to view your site by going to www.mysite.com instead of www.mysite.com/joomla/
Answer:
Joomla can’t recognise a home page that’s outside of Joomla. If your Joomla site is your main site then you can either move all your files into the site root (and edit your absolute path and live_site url accordingly in configuration.php) or you can use htaccess to redirect your domain to the joomla subdirectory.
Answer:
You can post your query at joomla websites like
http://joomlaaddons.org/ ,
http://jomlacode.org/,
http://joomlasack.com/ ,etc.
Answer:
Make ur sub domain as /www/mysite.com/jhoomla/ Book Mark it-> del.icio.us | Reddit | Slashdot | Digg | Facebook | Technorati | Google | StumbleUpon | Window Live | Tailrank | Furl | Netscape | Yahoo | BlinkList
