Does anyone Have any software ideas that i could use??

I am doing Year 12 VCD (Visual Communiction and Design) and i must produce a folio..

my folio must consist of lots of concept work, refining, inspiration and be designed well..

i am going to desingn a myspace layout as my task and was wondering if there is a program that i could use that is like a websitre but needs no interenet, you just set it up how you want it and there are links to all the different parts of my folio..

and i can set it out like a layout all decorated etc etc.

i have no idea what kind of program could do that..

i thought about microsoft powerpoint, but just not what i'm looking for, i want a more proffessional way about this.

and FREEE!!! some how.. :s!

You don't need a web server or world wide web to do web site layout. You would create web pages locally on your hard drive (or USB flash drive). Any links on the pages would reference other pages on the same drive. The links aren't anything wildly special - just the name of the target file.

You can get a free HTML (web page) editor at: http://www.coffeecup.com/free-editor/

They also sell a full suite of programs for web site design, but I doubt you need that at this point.
