does the internet have a main server that contains the framework of the entire world wide web or something along that line?This is giving me a headache…

The closest thing are the root DNS servers, These are 13 clusters of DNS servers, with well-known external IP addresses, that have the authoritative DNS for top-level domains like .com/.net/org.

These only handle name resolution, i.e. mapping a human readable hostname like answers.yahoo.com to a numeric address (like 209.73.187.220)

im pretty sure there isnt just one huge server, since the web is worldwide, there have to be servers worldwide. Just on my small college campus we’ve several serves for our systems.
