If I'm understanding you correctly, you don't want your site to be on a sudomain (a.k.a freewebs.com/yoursitenamehere), so then your only option would to be to buy your own domain (yourdomain.com). You have to realize, though, that by owning your own domain, you have to set everything up yourself… you need to code it (with html, php..) They don't come with themes like Freewebs.com does.
I'm guessing you don't know coding program languages, so you could either learn them, use a program such as Frontpage (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/frontp… or download and install (or get someone to do it for you) a content management program such as wordpress (http://wordpress.org), Moveabletype (http://www.movabletype.org/) or Six apart (http://www.sixapart.com/) — programs such as these make managing a website REALLY easy. You can use pre-made themes until you get the hang of creating and/or customizing your own.
By the way, if you want a domain name keep in mind that they do cost money, and hosting for your domain costs even more. Some domain owners out there offer free hosting, though, so do some research and find out your options.

If it's a program you want then I use NVU or Kompozer http://www.nvu.com/ but that's because I can't use Dreamweaver which I would highly suggest ( but it is expensive)
If you mean an on the web site then I think all of them have somesite.com at the begin or end.
