A question on Definition List

If I write Philip it will make the word Philip BOLD. So when I run it and I see the word Philip BOLD in Internet Explorer, I'd say the syntax WORKS, but instead of saying it WORKED what's the right term to use (if there is any)

e.g. Yesterday I (bend my knees and hooped forward) I can say that right .. but one word for all that in brackets is JUMP.

So the syntax I typed made "Philip" BOLD .. so instead of saying it WORKED, is there another HTML term or phrase to use??

Answer:
You BOLDED the word PHILIP

Answer:
In high tech things words are often coined. So in this case you could say you "bolded" the word Philip.

Here it is used as a past tense of bold which is being used as a noun.

Answer:
It's really just a matter of preference, depending on who you are sending the status report on whether or not your HTML coding works. You could say it is "Correct Syntax" or "Strong Code." It's your call. For instance, in a sentence you could say: Philip is the correct Syntax to bold the term Philip

OR

Philip is a strong code for bolding the term Philip.

Hope this helps.

Answer:
I would go with Needs to Talk's "correct syntax" example.

Answer:
You could also say the word Phillip was *emboldened*, and that the browser *rendered* the tags correctly.
