I get a box which says
END PROGRAM - WMS IDLE
“Ending pogram - Please wait”
but no amount of waiting produces any result.
There is a button for “End program now”
and I have to press this before the computer will shut down

Go to the MyEbay home page and to the left you'll see under All Buying a watching link. Click and there you can delete items you don't want to watch any more.
