Importing favorites into internet explorer 7?

i know that once you go to file and click import and export you should be able to pull up your favorites from IE6, but mine aren't working and it says "not a valid bookmark." Anyone have any ideas?

its simple just copy ur favorite sites…. or bookmarks…

from Document and settings

and open ur user name….

just copy the Star icon folder means Favorites folder

and open internet explorer 7… and

paste in the favorite …… tab….
