Having a problem with my Wireless - I recently went from an Acer Apsire 3680 with Vista, to having to install a clean HD - I went to XP since I really didn't like Vista and managed after a week of working at it to get all the drivers found and installed.

The only thing I am now having a problem with is my wireless, it finds the driver but when it's finishing the install gives me an error 39: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

I'm really not sure what to do here, it's a Broadcom 802.11g network adapter, I believe.

Answer:
Either your driver is really corrupted or your OS is not recognizing it.

Answer:
Go to acers website and download the xp driver for your make/model of acer laptop.

I used to just logon to acer support go to downloads select my laptop make/model and it would list all the drivers i needed then you would just download them.
