I laid something down on my personal and all of a suden it made this realy loud beping noise. Now everytime i type the keys make a bep. I have the ability to on ly hit the backspace buton once in a row and I cant double my leters. Whats wrong? How can I fix this? By the way I’ve Windows Vista.

Answer:
The beeping implies that there is a key stuck. trying hitting all the keeps individually to make sure they move freely, then restart your computer and it should be fine.

Answer:
Windows has Accessibility Options to help with the disabled which are activated by holding down a certain key too long. It sounds like you activated the FilterKeys setting. I'm not sure exactly how to disable it in Vista, but if the setup is similar to XP, go to your Control Panel and look for Accessibility Options or something similar to that (it usually has a handicap symbol). Open then and go to the tab for keyboard and if any option under there are checked, uncheck them and that should solve your problem. Furthermore, you can go under each options individual settings and disable them to prevent something like this from happening again.

Answer:
you pressed too many keys at once. this is an old thing thats been happening since windows has came out. if you can, just restart your computer.

if you can’t control the keyboard you need to hard reboot your personal using the button on the tower.

Answer:
Try to reboot, if you still have a problem, unplug your keyboard, and reboot twice plugging it back in as it comes up the second time. If this doesn't work trash your copy of Vista and downgrade to XP.
