Does anyone else miss the little hourglass? What's with that circle, what do circles have to do with computers? I liked the hourglass, an ancient manner of measuring time, being associated with a medium that boasts being constantly at the cuttign edge.

How does everyone else feel? Do you think the circle is more modern and relevant? Or do you miss the hourglass too?

Answer:
ah you can use the hour glass again, just right click anywhere on your desktop, choose personalize, then mouse pointers, then the pointers tab and have your pic.

the circle is windows aero which would probably be the first thing you'll see when you try to change it

Answer:
I'm on vista and I like the blue circle perfectly fine, but I love your view on why the hourglass was there!

If you want to change it back to the hourglass you can do it with the Mouse options which you can find from the Start menu of course

Answer:
uh.. i just liked the circle thing cuz it looked different and kinda cool. the hourglass was ok. you can change that in your settings though if you miss it so much. the circle though is a lot more colorful. not sure about its relevancy to time or waiting. just that it moves at least to tell me the computer hasnt froze or sometihng.

Answer:
its not much of importance

Answer:
Hi there, You can still use your hour glass! Go to control panel>mouse>pointers>then select Windows default if you need further help please ask I'll explain in more detail… good luck and enjoy the hour glass!

Answer:
I have Vista, pretty much used every single windows. But cant say it's a big part of my computing so i don't have a issue with it. Some software when installing it has the hour glass.

Answer:
I don't know.

I don't remember the hourglass…

I like the circle.

I like Vista in general (and the circle thing) because it all looks so flexible and flowing like it can do anything. Do you get what I mean???

The other system I had looked so bold. So just set. Nothing to change.

I'm probably scaring…

Hope you understood this!!!
