Like if there is sound from a video clip I want. I heard there is a way
Answer:
You need a recording software. With your sound card came a sound driver cd. Look for an application software there that enables you to play music (wave, cd, midi, etc.). The lay out will look like stereo components. If there is a button with a red dot in the middle, that is what you are looking for — the record button. To record sound from a clip you are playing, go to Control Panel => Sound and Audio Devices. Select Sound then go to Advanced. When your Volume Control panel opens go to Options select Recording. The Recording panel will open, select Wave. When you record using your recording software, it will record from Wave (this means it will record whatever you hear from your PC).

Download the free program called Audacity. (it is a recording program, of course.)
If the video has been downloaded on your computer, all you need to do is click on the file and literally drag it from your files onto a blank Audacity.
If the video is from a website (like Youtube or something), you need a microphone, and you still use Audacity.
