I started my service 3/6 and not a day goes by that the modem flashes red for 2 minutes to 2 hours, and repair comes out and can't find anything; yet when I call the tech'nicians, they explain that the data isn't flowing correctly. I’ve printed out the stats/diagnosis on broadband errors and made a daily documentation. They may bring another modem.
Answer:
It sounds like you’ve already defined the repair. It sounds like a defective modem or a bad feed.
Answer:
Confirm that a splitter is on the feed to the modem and filters on all the wired phones in the house. if this is done then you might consider replacing the filters and splitter.
You may need to run a dedicated cable from the mpoe to the location of your router. If you do this you cam mount a splitter on the mpoe. If the mpoe is outside your home, you can get a splitter in a weatherproof box. you might want to hire a professional to do this.
