hi i am planning to buy a desktop with built in wireless
i found 2 personal one says “Wireless-A+B+G+N “
and another states “Built-in wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n) ”
is there a difference between the two? one doesn't have “802.11″
im being extra careful coz i don't wanna buy one that is crap
so thanks in advance =)
Answer:
Wireless-A+B+G+N is backward compatible with 802.11a. Which is useless.
Built-in wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n) isn’t backward compatible.
Bottom line is its the same thing. All cards will support the same channels these days, looking at the finer details will provide you with a better idea of which is better.
