buy a third network card. use windows xp or vista ics

Here is the network card config:
pc1 - install two network cards
pc2 - install one network card

on pc1 on networkcard1 install boardband, on pc1 networkcard2 configure a static internal address (example: 192.168.0.2)

on pc2 install networkcard, configure a static ip address (192.168.0.3 and a default gateway pointing to pc1)

use a cross over cable from P1 networkcard2 to pc2

ensure communication between the two pcs - install ICS -done

Answer:
it's possible, but you might not have enough equipment. on at least one of the pcs, you need to have a way to connect to both the other Personal computer and to the router (ethernet, firewire, etc). then, simply open your “network connections”, right click a connection and select “bridge connections”.

Alternatively, go to a computer store, and buy a very cheap wireless adapter for your broadband router.

Answer:
Your ideal bet, without opening your personal to install cards you really don't need, would be to just go purchase an ethernet router. You can find them just about anywhere (Best Buy, Walmart, Office Depot) with prices ranging from $20-$80. That's all you would need. Just plug each personal into it via an ethernet cable, and let the router do the rest. The router will assign an IP address to each computer automatically, without requiring any further actions on your part. Just plug them in, and you're on the web. Plus, a router typically has four ethernet ports on it, so you could add more personal later if you wanted to. The “add more lan cards” idea from the previous answerer (no offense to anyone) would be more headache than it's worth.
