i looked up my default gateway number and then typed that in on my adress bar and then it stated “your gateway is ready to go” willl it cost me money? or charge extra?
Answer:
No. Your router is your device. Once installed, it won’t cost you any additional fees.
The interface you described is a Web interface to the router. From this interface you can alter your router setting.
Answer:
No, this is just letting you know that the router is operating successfully. You should also be seeing information pertaining to the router settings, unless you're on a public network, in which case this type of access is restricted. Theres no extra charge involved, rest assured.
Let me know if this helps!
Answer:
Im pretty sure it won't cost you anything but i might be wrong. Most of the time you can just log in to your router and change whatever settings you need to but maybe some are different.
