My laptop keeps connecting to the wrong router. We have one router in our household, and if I’m on the web or whatever, it connects to a random router that I am not aware of, at this point I'll assume that it is a neighbors router. It happens without notice, and I often have to manually make it connect to the correct network. Is there anything I have the ability to do to fix this?

Hello..The answer is yes..depending on the software used to detect networks..if your using the windows detector, right click on the tray icon..view available networks..select change order of preferred networks..if your using the wireless card software should be setup similar to the windows..might have to go to an advanced setting..hope this helps
