I recently got a new computer, windows home XP and connected the network cable to the server, windows 2000.

I created a short cut to my main program I need for my job on the computer on the server..but it says it can't be run as it is

"not installed'.

Can this be bipassed without reinstalling the whole program on this computer.

In the past, the program was able to be used as it was just a winterminal and accessed the server directly.

Thanks.

Please try these commands! These will sort out your problems.

for Network Connections - control netconnections

for Network Connections - ncpa.cpl

for Network Setup Wizard - netsetup.cpl

for computer properties - sysdm.cpl

Go to run i.e. press window button r

then use these commands. example: go to run and then type ncpa.cpl and then press enter button. Its too easy.
