What is types of questions contain? What were the hardest questions for you to answer? For the most part I think im ready. I know my weakness areas and i am working on those. My weakness areas are Access control lists and VLANs for the most part. I'm in the 4th semester of the cisco curriculum at a community college and so far the curriculum has been far easier then i imagined.
Answer:
Cisco exam is considered the most difficult IT exam. Almost 3 years ago, the passing rate for CCNA is 89 out of 100! Think hard before you answer, because you only see next button not previous button so you can't go back to previous question should you find your answer is wrong. In random, you will get may be 1 or 2 question about router or switch simulation question. You must configure it like real one. Only the problem, it's only simulation, you will not get help from help menu & only related commands can be shown. If you think you fail this question, prepare to take another test, since the mark for this question is about 100 for each question! The rest all are choose the best answer question and choose all that apply question (don't expect they will tell you how many are best answer). Last time my question is 41 questions.
Answer:
While the test are deep and comprehensive, they are nothing like a Microsoft exam.
A CCNA test test you to make sure you know the material.
A Microsoft test tries to trip and trap you so you fail. This way you have to give them another $125 dollars to pad Bill's pocket.
But then again I was really prepared and had over 20 years of experience before the Cisco Exam ever came around.

I pass that test 2 years ago, make sure you know all commands protocols ,I mean not just memorize them understand what they do,if you are doing good on 3th and 4th semester in college you are fine, your best shot is either find a simulator for Cisco router or Catalysts and practice ,or find some old Cisco router and make your own network inside this network you can create you own Vlan and practice the commands ,I have some of those test question,I can email it to you, also making of sub-nets and how to set Ip addresses as bunch should be piece of cake for you ,or else spend more time and study,I remember me and bunch of my classmates bought a set of Router and Catalyst plus some switches from EBay and made our own network and practice with it ,usually there are good deals in EBay for those used sets they used to sell it all as a unit .also some colleges and schools whom teach CCNA have their own Virtual network you can log in and practice.
