Hey, count yourself lucky, back when I was taking IT classes not only were they boring - but the tutors didn't even know what they were talking about so I had to correct them several times a lesson (which is crazy when some of the mistakes are simple binary calculations).

What's boring about your class? Why not do something about it? Do things that go above and beyond, if you need to code a small simple project - don't just do the staple 'Hello World' program, do something that will give you more of a challenge…

Also decide whether this is boring because they are just teaching things you already know or because you don't enjoy the subject. If the former - consider yourself luck, if the latter the only thing you can do is put up or leave.
